Foggy Saturday Sightseeing

On saturday I wanted to show my sister T. some nice spots in Munich like „Marienplatz“,  „Viktualienmarkt“, „Odeonsplatz“ and „Karlsplatz“. Unfortunately, the wheather wasn’t very tourist-friendly. Munich downtown on saturdays is awful … it’s even worse on rainy saturdays where everyone uses an umbrella! Therefore, T. and I relocated our saturday-Munich-outdoors-sightseeing to an indoors-style-sightseeing: my sister found some very cool running shoes (I’m a bit jealous ;-)), we met a „work colleague slash friend“ of T. and his family for a coffee and, as a great finish of the day, T. and I climbed up St. Peters church which is located close to the „Viktualienmarkt“ and offers a nice view over the city of Munich … the surrounding region … straight to the Alps. However, the skyline of the Alps we had to imagine, the sight was not clear enough. Instead, Munich downtown looked very mystic … drowned in fog (see pictures below).
